Guidance counselors at Central Middle School support all students’ intellectual, social and personal development. Working with students, we provide opportunities to develop skills in the areas of social-emotional growth, problem solving, and organization.

Counselors collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to help incorporate the Central Middle School mission throughout our community and best serve your child.

Counseling is a process that offers a safe environment to explore feelings and discuss concerns. Through this process, counseling can help students and families explore new ideas, problem solving skills and coping strategies.

The counselor assigned to your child will remain with him/her throughout their three years at Central Middle School. This arrangement enables the counselor to truly get to know your child as an individual and to develop a positive, trusting relationship which is essential for effective counseling.
